Charles Lynn, 86, of Guthrie, passed away March 24, 2011 in Oklahoma City, OK. Charles was born August 27, 1924 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Charles and Ruth (Harris) Lynn. Charles attended Guthrie high School as well as Tech School for Electrical and Military training. He served his country during WWII with the United States Army. Charles was a longtime resident of Guthrie and a member of the VFW and the Masons. Electrician by trade after retirement he became a rental property owner. He is preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Emma Beulah Kelso and his second wife Barbara June Barber; daughter, Charolette; son, Robert. He is survived by his daughters, Connie Scharbor of Edmond, Shirley May of Lake George, MN, Linda and Chuck Paxton of Park Hill, OK; Sons Ron and Trisha Glenn of Guthrie, Ok and Randy and Kathy Barber of Oklahoma City, OK; Grandchildren, Justin, Brianna and Garrett Scharbor of Edmond, Tyler and wife Kristy May of Laurel, MS, Amber May of Minneapolis, MN, Alexis May of Park Rapid, MN, April Spaulding of Edmond, Heather Glenn of Missouri, Anna Glenn of Guthrie, Gary Barber of New Castle, Jennifer Denton of Stillwater, Tina Carr of Edmond; and 10 great grandchildren; Siblings, Helen Hurley of Tulsa, Virginia and Roy Bridewell of Edmond, Norma Riecker of Guthrie, Jerry Lynn and Carolyn of Guthrie; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, March 26 from 9am-8pm and Sunday, March 27 from 12pm-8pm at Baggerley Funeral Home. Services for Charles will be 10:00 am, Monday, March 28, at Baggerley Funeral Home with interment following at Gracelawn Cemetery.
