Carol E. Stoy of Edmond, died February 27, 2010. She was born December 25, 1921; a Christmas present to George and Willa Mae McKelvery in Stotts City, MO. Carol worked in Los Angeles where she met her husband Raymond E. Stoy. After WWII they moved to Great Bend, KS where they had two sons who joined her third son from a previous marriage. They moved to OKC in 1960 where she devoted the rest of her life as a mother and homemaker. She also volunteered for over 20 years as the curator of Pleasant Hill Cemetery. She was active with the Waterloo Road Baptist Church in Edmond, OK.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two grandsons. She is survived by her three sons; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Viewing will be at Baggerley Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Services will also be held at Baggerley, Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 2:00 p.m., with interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery located at Waterloo Rd. & Sooner Rd.
