Born on September 19, 1933, Lorraine grew up in Belleville, NJ. She married the love of her life Thomas J. Chesnick in 1954 and in 1955 they moved to Lake Parsippany, NJ where they raised their family.
Known to many as “Gammy”, Lorraine loved being with her family her grandchildren being the joys of her life. For more than 20 years she also worked for an eye doctor in the Greenhill Shopping Center until her retirement in 2005.
Lorraine is predeceased by her husband Thomas J. Chesnick, (Aug. 1, 2003) and her parents, Robert & Harriet Crowning. She leaves behind her heartbroken family - daughter, Harriet Locascio, (William); son Thomas J. Chesnick, Jr., (Kathrin Wyka); grandchildren, Elizabeth Andrejczak, Christopher Maisano, Mylanda Russo, Michael Chesnick and her beloved Kevin Chesnick and seven great grandchildren. She also leaves her dearest friend Georgia Silva whom she shared many years of joy and friendship.
A private family celebration of life will be held in September.
