Dorothy Moore

Dorothy Jean Moore, 79, formerly of Martinsville, NJ passed away Monday February 8 peacefully while in the loving care of the Lehigh Valley Pocono Hospice House. She was the loving wife of the late Dewitt Moore for 46 years before his passing in 2006.

She was born April 24, 1941 in Somerville NJ. She was a daughter of the late Albert and Isabelle (Macarthur) Mason.

Dorothy was a graduate of Bernardsville High School’s class of 1959. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, crocheting, music and dancing. She loved animals, her family and her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters; Pamela Pilla and late husband Anthony, Janet Campora and husband Robert and Victoria Jean Moore: grandchildren; Kristin Marino and husband Kyle, Lauren Pilla and significant other Octavio DosSantos, Danielle Regeski, Charles Beers, James Wisniowski, Stephen Wisnowski, Amanda Sullivan and husband Joshua: great grandchildren; Austin, Declan and Kendra. Also many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by sisters; Janet Elizabeth Mason and Judith Eileen Mason.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
