Cecelia Elizabeth Martz

Born April 28, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Hattie (Harrison) and Samuel VanWhy, of Bushkill, PA.

Cecelia was predeceased by her son, Harold F. Martz, Jr.; brothers, Lewis VanWhy, Archie VanWhy; and her step-mother, Ellen VanWhy.

She is survived by her two daughters, Evelyn and husband Donald Smith of East Stroudsburg, PA, and Elizabeth Clausen and partner Louis Stevens, of Berwick, PA; nine grandchildren, sixteen great grand children and fifteen great great grandchildren.

Cecelia was a member of the Reform Church of Bushkill and was a volunteer at Bushkill Outreach for 30 years where she enjoyed helping others. She also loved going to all her grandchildren’s sporting events and was a Mets fan. She had been previously employed at Ronson, Pocono Medical Center and Bushkill Falls.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022, 12:30 p.m. at the Reform Church of Bushkill.
