Linda “Sharon” Mullins, formerly of East Ridge, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023. Sharon was born October 13, 1947 to Sherrill and Maggie Mullins of Apison, Tennessee.
Sharon acquired two Masters degrees in English and Education from the University of Chattanooga/University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Sharon was a devoted teacher to her students at East Ridge High School where she taught and sponsored several clubs, activities, and groups until her retirement. She made a huge impact on many of her students who kept in contact with her throughout the years. This brought Sharon much joy. Sharon was a member of First Baptist Church Fort Oglethorpe where she loved being a choir member while she was able. Sharon struggled with illness for many years, but passed away peacefully in hospice care. Sharon was predeceased by her parents.
A visitation will be held at Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist – East Chapel, 404 South Moore Rd., East Ridge, Tennessee followed by a funeral service at 11 AM. A private interment will occur at Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
