Meg attended OLPH grade school and graduated high school from GPS. She attended Boston University and then later graduated from UTC. She loved swimming and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Francis O’Neill III.
Survivors include her mother, Sharon D. O’Neill, siblings, Shannon M. O’Neill (Steven Ayers), Kelly M. O’Neill, Paul C. Klein (Laura), Michael O’Neill (Lin), Mark O’Neill, nieces and nephews, Patrick K, Patrick O, Courtney, Andrew, Matthew, Keaghan, Hunter, Sagan and many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A celebration of Life will be held at The Church on Main Southside from 6:30 to 8:30pm on Friday, April 22, 2022.
In honor of Meg’s memory friends and family have established a Meg O'Neill Cannon '99 Endowed Scholarship at Girls Preparatory School. The fund will benefit student athletes (swimmer) who would not otherwise be able to afford a GPS education.
