Linda Langston

Linda Jo Rominger Langston, 82, of East Ridge passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church and had been active in Presbyterian Women. Linda was a graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in Dietary Nutrition. She retired from the City of Chattanooga School System and was the owner of Leave it to Linda Catering. Linda donated to multiple charities.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Langston; daughter, Karlyn Collins; brother, Jim Rominger; brother-in-law, Richard Boyd; and a sister-in-law, Mary Rominger.

She is survived by two foster sons, Aaron Grimes and Robby Carney; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Boyd; brother, Richard L Rominger; two sisters-in-law, Gretchen Rominger and Jo Panell; special friends, Alice Brown and Glenda Beard.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Thursday, November 21, 2024 and from 1-2 PM Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday at the Funeral home chapel with Rev. Cathy Meyer and Rev. Jim Davenport officiating. Burial will be at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to King’s Chest Fund at Second Presbyterian Church 700 Pine Street, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37402.
