Larry was a veteran of the United States Navy and served his country for 6 years. After he was discharged from the Navy he went on to receive a Bachelors Degree from Texas A&M University. He worked for ATT in the IT Department for many years until his retirement. Larry was an avid ballroom dancer and instructor. He also enjoyed dabbling in the stock market.
Preceding his death was his father, Orville Travis Marshall Sr, mother Calla Lee Bouldin Marshall, brothers, Orville Travis Marshall Jr., and Ronald Lee Marshall, Sr., aunts Helene Bouldin and Mary Frances Robinson, and great-nephew, Cameron Workman.
He is survived by his nephews Orville Travis Marshall III, Ronald Lee Marshall, Jr., Nieces, Kim Marshall Brosnan, Staci Marshall Workman, Brandy Marshall Anderson, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. great-nephews, Orville Travis Marshall IV, Thomas Brosnan Jr and Andrew J. Brosnan, Elliot Snyder, Justin Marshall, Jett Marshall, Brody Thomasson, and Browning Anderson, great-nieces, Whittney Cabello, Darien Marshall, and Leland Anderson, and several great-great nephews and nieces.
A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Monday December 30, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. with a receiving of friends prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am. He will be laid to rest in the Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park alongside his parents and aunt.
