Mr. Hurst was born in Chattanooga to the late Kenneth and Muriel Hurst. He was a graduate of East Ridge High School Class of 1981 and Chattanooga State. Vince was co-owner of Metallurgical Enterprises in Rossville, Georgia, a former member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church and was a very avid NASCAR Fan.
Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Teresa Hurst; children, Vincent and Jamie Savanna Hurst; brothers, Steven Hurst of Chattanooga, Michael (Karen) Hurst of Birmingham, AL; and sisters, Karen Hurst Batson of Wilmington, NC, and Hollye Kaye Hurst of California.
There will not be any visitation and burial will be private.
