Jonathan Louis Bryan, 47, of Chattanooga passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at his home. He was originally from Kennedale, TX and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Jonathan was a member of the VFW and had worked as a prison guard at Silverdale Workhouse. He was a member of The Rock Metropolitan Community Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Michael Bryan and his partner, Kenneth Brian Carroll.
Survivors include his mother, Rebecca Murray; step-father, Gary Black; brother, Sean Black; two sisters, Jeanette Clark and Lori Hadaway.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Tela Smith for her loving care.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, May 16 at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with Bryce Current officiating. Burial will be in Tyner Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
