Johnny was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 26 years of service. He was a member of New Haven Baptist Church and the Enrichment Sunday School Class.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Missy Mitchell Rash and brother, Richard Thomas Rash.
Survivors include his daughter, Heather (Scott) Tucker of Ringgold; son, Jonathan Rash of Rossville; granddaughter, Madison Tucker of Ringgold; godson, Jacob Grant of Rossville; sister, Vickie (John) Duffy of East Ridge; brother, Timothy (Cathy) Rash of Signal Mountain; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gloria & Billy Mitchell; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Angie & Greg Wright of Rossville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the East Chapel with Rev. Bill Broom and Rev. Robert K. Schrader officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
The family will receive friends Monday from 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
