She loved to spend time with her family. Frances planned all the family outings. She loved to play bingo, loved to bowl, and enjoyed eating out. Her most enjoyable time was spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Frances also enjoyed her time spent at the beauty shop with all her friends, especially Tangie.
Frances was preceded in death by her first husband, Miles N. Walker who was killed in action during WWII. She was also preceded by her second husband of 59 years, Roy Grizzle, her parents, and one brother.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Glen (Jackie) Walker, Chattanooga, Judy Beaty and Linda Crawford, both of Ringgold, grandchildren, Cathy (Joe) Warren, Chattanooga, Jeff (Angela) Walker, Trussville, AL., Kim (Mikey) Baker and Angie (Chad) Swason, both of Ringgold, Aaron (Wendy) Beaty, Josh (Wendy) Crawford, both of East Ridge, and Jacob (Karrie) Crawford, Ringgold., great-grandchildren, Michael, Zachary, Shelby, Brody, Garrett, Maggie, Bo, Max, Julie Anna, Jack, Jaxon, and Kadie Mae, a special niece, Sis and her husband Fred Lewis, niece, Pam (Rex) Vice, and nephew, Dwight (Lynn) Walker.
A Celebration of Frances’ life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Friday August 25, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. The family will receive friends on Thursday August 24, 2017 from 4 – 8 p.m.
She will be laid to rest in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
