Donnie Allen

He was a graduate of Ooltewah High School and was a veteran of the U S Army having served in Germany.

Donnie worked as a welder by trade. In his younger days he loved spending time out on the lake waterskiing. He enjoyed being in nature, fishing, and playing around with his wild pet squirrel.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Allen.

Survivors include his son, Donald Lee Allen, III, of Cleveland, TN, grandson, Ryker Allen, father, Donald “Don” Allen, Sr., brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Marsha Allen, all of Chattanooga, TN, and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:30 pm, Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Ridgedale Baptist Church with Dr. Doug Plumlee officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:30 pm, Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at the church.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
