Charles Foston Honeycutt, III, a proud veteran of the Marines, passed away on December 5, 2024. He was born on August 28, 1966, and grew up in the North Georgia and Chattanooga area, and attended Harrison Chilhowee Baptist Academy in the Smokey Mountains.
At the age of twenty, he enlisted in the Marines. He was a dedicated soldier, serving as a Guard at the British Embassy, and then a tour in Operation Desert Storm in Iraq. He loved the Marines and serving our country.
Known as Chucky, he was a proud father of two children, (son) Chase Honeycutt, and (daughter) Ellie Honeycutt, who he is survived by, and loved dearly.
He is preceded in death by his loving Mother, Norma Jean McGuffin Weaver.
Chucky is also survived by Pixie Honeycutt, the mother of his children and siblings: Elaine Diddle, Darryl Weaver (Cindy), Lisa Simmons (Rick), Gina Sakich & Donna Eskra, a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. Please arrive no earlier than 12:45 and meet at the cemetery office.
