Catherine Inez (Cash) Turner, 97, passed away on October 14, 2021. She was a member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church. Catherine worked for Quaker Oats as a chemist. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents Raleigh Jefferson and Ramie Swope Cash, and 7 siblings.
Left behind to cherish Catherine’s memory are her son and his wife Ken and Kim Turner, 4 grandchildren, Catherine Pawiak, Kenneth (Gabby) Turner, Jr., Carrie Turner, and Emily (Chad) Kiser, 5 great-grandchildren Casimer, Callie, Carter, Will and Henry and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Catherine’s Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Sunday October 17, 2021 at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 12:00. Catherine will be laid to rest in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with her husband.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Catherine’s memory to the Brainerd Hills Baptist Church, 6611 E Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
