Ashton Brooke Smith, 36, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on September 1, 2022. She was born August 5, 1986 to her loving parents, Donnie and Cinde Smith. Aston was a loving daughter, mother, and friend to many.
She is preceded in death and met at the gates of Heaven, by her grandfathers, Ken Parnell and Louie Smith.
Left here on earth to cherish her memory are her two beautiful daughters, Diamond and Iceley Stephens; her parents, Donnie and Cinde Smith; grandmothers, Frances Parnell and Nancy Smith; aunts and uncles; Teresa Owens, Sandy Barns, Ronnie and Renee Smith, Dale and Denise Smith; cousins, Josh and Brette, Jeffery, Breonna and McKenna, Tray, Jamie and Benson Davis, Jonathan and Jesse Davidson, and several amazing, loving friends.
The family wants to give special thanks to Sarah Stephens for picking out Ashton’s outfit and jewelry, to Hannah Thomas for doing her hair and makeup, and to Brette and Brittany for pictures.
The pallbearers will be: Zack Hamby, Eli Thomas, Josh Peace, Michael Peppers, Ryan Templeten, and Michael Kennedy.
There will be a visitation from 11 AM to 2 PM Monday, September 12, 2022 at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, TN. The funeral service will begin at 2 PM at the funeral home chapel with Jerry Smith officiating.
Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
