Susan was born December 23, 1944 to Charles and Peggy McLee of Spring Bay, IL. She graduated Valedictorian from Metamora High School in 1963, earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from Illinois State University in 1966, and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Bradley University in 1971. She became a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in 1993.
