Rose Carr

She was born February 23, 1928 in Poplar Bluff, MO, to Lawrence Carroll and Freda (Brent) Epps. She married Edward A. Carr, SR. on May 10, 1947 in Piggott, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her Husband and Parents.

Rose is survived by: Children; Maria Lynn Carr of East Peoria, Diana (Doug) Wiley of Chillicothe, Lois Robinson of Decatur, Carol (Harry, JR.) Cramer of East Peoria, Edward JR. (Sandra) Carr of Washington, Siblings; William “Bud” Epps of Poplar Bluff, MO, Ruth Berry of O’Fallon, MO, Caroline Goad of Hazelwood, MO, twenty four grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one great-great-great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rose enjoyed hand quilting and crocheting. She often played bingo at the VFW in East Peoria. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Rose’s family was most important to her and she loved to spend time with them, especially all of her grandchildren.

A funeral service for Rose will be held at 11 AM, Saturday August 23, 2014 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Pastor Jeff Lashley will officiate. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery.

Memorial donations in honor of Rose can be made to The American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
