Peggy Marie Jeffers

   She was born Oct. 16, 1947 in Sheffield, AL to Ed and Eva (Berry) Hall.  She married Phil Jeffers in Coloma, MI on July 5, 1966.  He preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jerry; and one sister, Joyce.

   Surviving are her son, Tony Jeffers; daughter, Lisa Jeffers; two grandchildren, Morgan and Payton Jeffers; three sisters, Grace (John) Barnhart, June Beeler, Naomi Knight; and several nieces and nephews.

   A 1965 graduate of East Peoria High School, she worked at Pekin CEFCU since 1997 as a member service representative.

   She was a member of the East Peoria First Church of The Nazarene where she had served as a pianist, organist and Sunday School Teacher.

   Cremation has been accorded.  Memorial Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2012 at East Peoria First Church of The Nazarene with Rev. Tim Livengood officiating.  There will be no visitation.  Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
