Michael "Mike" Lee Davis

He was born December 8, 1954 in Peoria to Donald R. and Barbara L. (McKay) Davis. He married Mary K. Flynt on November 3, 1973 in Peoria. She survives.

Also surviving are their three children, Jason (Lisa) Davis, Crystal Davis both of East Peoria and Tony (Tricia) Davis of Green Valley; eleven grandchildren, Michael, Samantha, Dylan, Marissa, Cole, Hannah, Carah, Dalton, Hunter, Justin, and River; and four siblings, Sheila R. Hull, Donald R. (Linda) Davis Jr., William R. (Rita) Davis all of East Peoria and Randy L. (Donnia) Davis of LaBelle, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Steven Davis.

Mike graduated from East Peoria High School in 1973 and received his associates degree in Business from Illinois Central College. He was the former owner and operator of M&M Twistee Treat in East Peoria and worked at Caterpillar Inc. until retiring in 2006. He was a member of the Masonic Blue Lodge, the U.A.W. Local 974, and Abbas Grotto. Mike enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.

A visitation will be on Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 2 to 4 pm at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation.
