James "Jim" Gordon Hall, 76, of North Pekin, formerly of Creve Coeur, passed away on Sunday September 3, 2023 at Carle Health - Methodist Hospital in Peoria. He was born on March 4, 1947 in Peoria, a son of Roy C. Hall and Doris L. (Head) Hall.
Jim is survived by his two sister-in-laws, Rosalie Hall of Metamora and Mary Hall of Pekin; four nieces, Audra Hall of East Peoria, Colleen (Rick) Uppole of East Peoria, Kathleen (Scott) Dolude of Plainfield, and Deborah (Jason) Bevard of East Peoria; one nephew, Bryan Hall of Pekin; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Jon Hall, Jay Hall, and Jerry Hall; and one nephew, Mike Hall.
Jim served his country in the United States Army, a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He worked as a forklift operator for Caterpillar, Inc. for 30 years.
Jim loved to restore and collect antique cars. His pride and joy was his 1949 Crosley.
Jim's visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Friday, September 8, 2023 at the Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. There will be no service. Burial will follow his visitation at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
