She was born March 24, 1949 in Steelville, Missouri to James and Margaret (Warden) Kaffer. She married Richard “Dick” Wennmacher on June 4, 2022, he passed away September 11, 2022.
Jeri is also preceded by her parents; grandson, Jay Zachary Sutton; siblings, Lillie Graham, Dene Walker, Lorene Williams, Sharon Muller and Bud Kaffer; brother in laws, Red Graham, Gene McDonald, Bryan Walker, and John Williams.
She is survived by her six children, Lynn (Jay) Sutton, Christy (Manny Newman) Greathouse, Glen (Angie Flores) Redding Jr., Jax, Baby Jemma and Ladybug; four stepchildren, Dianne “Bunny” (Ty) Harbourn, Debbie (Joey Marsh) Wennmacher, Darren (Kim) Wennmacher and Davonne Pierce; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Shawn (Tiffany), Brianna (David), Sabrina, Misty (Michael), Stephanie, David, and Brandon; seven step-grandchildren, Laura (Scott), Nick (Emilee), Gracie, Michael, Krista, Jamie and Jessica; seven great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; one brother, James (Pam) Kaffer; two sisters-in-law, Carol McDonald and Linda Kaffer, lastly she is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jeri worked as a waitress for many years, retiring from Cummins Family Restaurant in Washington.
She had a special fondness for horses and other animals, especially her three beloved dogs, who brought her endless companionship and joy.
Jeri was an avid fan of Elvis Presley, and his music filled her home with happiness.
One of Jeri's favorite pastimes was spending time with her family. She cherished family gatherings and the moments they shared together, whether it was a holiday celebration or a simple weekend get-together. She especially loved the cozy, festive spirit of the Hallmark Christmas movies, and they became a tradition she looked forward to every year.
Jeri had a talent for working on puzzles, a hobby she enjoyed during quiet moments.
Cremation rites have been accorded. In keeping with Jeri’s wishes, there will be no services but a Celebration of Life at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jeri’s name to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.
