Patricia Ann Campbell (née Fountain), affectionately known as Pat, passed away on October 9th, 2024, in Mason, MI, at the age of 79. Born on February 12, 1945, in Lansing, MI, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.
Pat graduated from Lansing Eastern High School and remained in her hometown where she married the love of her life, Billy Campbell, on November 21, 1964. Pat and Billy shared 59 beautiful years together. She was a family-centered woman, deeply involved in her children’s lives, and cherished family vacations and camping trips. Pat was known for her compassionate and empathetic nature, always looking out for others and being a pillar of support for many.
She is survived by her husband, Billy; sons, James Campbell (Tom Keaveney), Steven Campbell (Dana), and William Campbell (Amy); grandchildren, Steven Campbell Jr., Kaylah Wirtjes (Steven), RaeAnnah Thompson (Ernie), Kirsten Campbell, Noah Campbell, Jack Campbell, and Alexis Campbell; great-grandchild, Alexander Wirtjes; and siblings, David Fountain and Roger Fountain (Sue). Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Harold J. Fountain and Betty Mae Fountain, and brother, Harold J. Fountain Jr.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on October 17, followed by a service at 12:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, located at 1730 E Grand River Ave, East Lansing. Burial will take place at East Lawn Memorial Garden at 1:00 PM. A luncheon at Gorsline Runciman will follow the burial, where family and friends can gather to celebrate Pat’s life.
Pat’s legacy of love and caring will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
