Michael James Reilly Jr.

Passed away at his home on January 18th, 2015. Michael was born on September 7th, 1963 to Michael and Veronica Maher Reilly. He was a 1981 graduate of Brother Rice High School, and graduated from Kalamazoo College in 1985. He earned his law degree from Cooley Law School in 1989. He was employed by the State of Michigan as an Assistant Attorney General at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Michael was a beloved father, brother, son, uncle and fiance, and a friend to many. He was known for his love of travel, hunting and the outdoors. An avid scuba diver, he spent many of his days at one of his favorite places, the Saint Clair River in Port Huron. He was a man who was loved by many and was always there for his friends and family.

Michael leaves behind four loving daughters: Taryn, Devinne, Breanna and Hailee Reilly and their mother, Tandy Bidinger; his stepson Kyle Pentecost and his wife Stacy; his beloved fiance, Margo Burrage and her daughters Katrina and Rachel; his father, Michael Reilly and his wife, Karen; his brother Patrick Reilly, his wife Julie, and their children Conor and Kaitlin; his brother Daniel Reilly, his wife Donna, and their children Evelyn and Carolyn; his sister Julie Reilly and her daughter Veronica; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; his loyal pup Colin; and friends too many to count.

Visitation will take place Friday, January 23 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24th at 11 am at the Martin Luther Chapel, 444 Abbot Rd., East Lansing. Donations may be made in his name to the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Monroe, Michigan. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing.
