Helen O. Grill

Okemos, Michigan

Helen O. Grill was born in Saginaw, Michigan on February 5, 1925 and died on August 16, 2016 at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph D. Grill and daughter of the late Mary. She was also predeceased by one sister and three brothers. Helen is survived by her two children, JoEllen (Phil) Kazmierski and Tom (Karilyn) Grill; grandchildren, Michael (Jessica) Kazmierski, Scott (Stephanie) Kazmierski and Kaitlyn and Daniel Grill; beloved Gigi to Jackson, Alexander, and Chloe Kazmierski; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 23rd at St. Martha Parish, 1100 N. Grand River Ave., Okemos with Rev. Jonathan Wehrle presiding. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 on Monday, August 22, 2016 with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing and also one hour prior to the mass at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Martha Parish, or the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, 1264 Meldrum St., Detroit, MI 48207.

The family wishes to thank all of the people at the Willows of Okemos and Residential Hospice Care for the wonderful care and support they provided Helen and her family.
