Glenda Eva Moore Francis

Loving wife and best buddy, age 63, of Okemos, died February 27, 2010. Glenda was born July 21, 1946 in Linwood, MI, to Oscar P. and Marie (Nellett) Moore. Glenda was predeceased by her parents. Surviving is her husband of 14 years, Donald E. Frances; 3 daughters, Linda Starrack, Donna Jean (Herb) Schultz, and Laura Ann Kamel; 3 sons, Jerry (Laura) Scott, Donald (Mary), and Steve Francis; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; 3 brothers, Norman (Gloria), Roger (Allison), and Bryan (Jean) Moore; 3 sisters, Dianne Waters, Dorothy McDonald, and Lynette (Keith) Rash.

Glenda was a 1964 Graduate of St. Michael’s High School. Then she moved to Lansing and worked for General Motors Oldsmobile Division for 35 years, retiring as a supervisor in Customer Service. She was an avid country music fan and loved going to Mt. Pleasant to attend shows.

The Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. James Catholic Church, 1010 Lansing St., Mason, MI, on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 11 a.m., with The Rev. Kenneth McDonald as celebrant. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI, and the the church one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memory Gardens, Okemos, MI.
