Dorothy was a resilient woman. Her sense of humor and generous spirit were remarkable. She loved to laugh, to play, and saw life through her own unique perspective. She loved deeply and lived simply. Dorothy dearly loved her sons and her love for them was boundless. She was a fierce advocator and protector of her pets and those she loved. Beneath her tough exterior was a tender, caring heart and an inner strength that propelled her through life on her own terms. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed. A unique light has gone out but now shines brightly as Dorothy rests in the arms of her heavenly Father.
Dorothy's presence, whether in person or on social media, left an indelible mark on the hearts of friends, family, and other social media acquaintances. This was especially true for her hospice caregivers who expressed their genuine love and affection for her.
