I am so sorry to hear about Gibby passing away... I just found out this morning. I was ALWAYS over joyed to run into him out and about, Spartan Games, social events.. we went to a Pistons game earlier this year.  Had a great time. Golfed with him in the Womens Council outing, took him to Common Ground..  Seems like yesterday.  I am so Sorry.  Our Prayers and Thoughts go out to Dan's Family and his Many Many Friends. his humor and laughter, he always left me smiling.  Although I never met you Laura, I feel as though I know you as every conversation your dad and I shared,

Sandy and Laura. I was so sorry to hear about Dan's passing. He was the real deal. A kind and loving father. Laura you are a cherished daughter and you had the hearts of two men! Rejoice in his memory and on a lighter note... I truly wish I had captured Dan and Ron planting mums together on film! Priceless! Always working together to make you a happy home! Our sympathies. Danny and I grew up together on Oakwood Lane. We spent many a summer day as children, getting into trouble and having fun doing it. We always had a good time together, even later in life. It was a sad day when I learned of his passing - he will be missed and remembered always.

Laura, Dale E, Sandy, and to all of the many friends that were fortunate to have had the honor and privilege of knowing Danny; his impact touched so many in such a positive way that he forever live in all of us. I'm just sorry that I can't be there with everyone to celebrate his life with you, but whenever I think of Danny, nothing more than a huge smile comes to my face, because I was the luckiest person in the world to have him as my friend.

Laura... We'll all sadly miss your fathers smile, and humor. My wife, and I have known Danny since highschool, and it was he that brought us together some 43 years ago.  Danny was a friend, one of a kind, full of energy, and always there with a smile.  As sad a moment this is, please know that you were his pride, and joy.  We'll remember him forever, and I can assure you that whenever we get together with old friends, Danny's name will always bring a kind smile, and laughture to everyone's face. Oh the stories we could tell, and maybe will one day we will.  God bless, and "see you again old friend!"

 Hello, I have known Dan for about 30 years and was always touched by his outgoing and friendly manner.  He supported me in my political endeavors especially in my race/campaign for the US Congress in 1988.  Dan's sage advice and friendship will be truly missed.  God Bless.

To Dan's family-he will be sadly missed. I call Dan a "once in a lifetime friend." You could only meet someone as good as Dan once and his friendship lasted for a lifetime. My prayer for you is that you find comfort knowing that Dan is in a better place.
