Richard A. Pugliese

Richard Allen Pugliese 65, longtime resident of East Hartford passed away on Dec. 8th 2011 at Manchester Manor. He was born Aug. 6, 1946 in Hartford, son of the late James and Grace Pugliese. He landscaped for many years and also worked as a machinist. Richie was an avid pool player, enjoyed playing setback, and played in many different leagues. Rich was a long time member of the East Hartford Moose Family Center and was proud to have achieved the prestigious Fellowship Degree of Honor. Rich was generous and donated time and monetarily to the Moose Senior Bingo and the Children’s Christmas party. Family and friends will miss Rich.

Along with both his parents he was predeceased by his sister Elizabeth Schiche and a brother James Pugliese.

Family and friends are invited Monday (Dec. 12th) at 9:30 am to Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, followed by a 10:30 am funeral service. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours will be Sunday (Dec. 11th) from 4-6 pm at the funeral home.
