Dear loving Dad,
I miss you so very much. You were an amazing father, grandfather and great grandfather. I miss our daily telephone conversations since Mom passed. We cried and we laughed. You missed her so much and now you are joined with her in Heaven. We are all lost without you and Mom too. You guided us constantly. You were always there for us. Every day that passes Dad,I think of you and Mom or are reminded about you both. 
You would be so proud of your new great grandson Bridger Raymond, and Lily Irene now 4 yrs old. Lily Knows exactly who you are when she looks at your photo.

It's my birthday and this was a special day to talk to my parents and especially my dad. I'll never forget the checks I used to get even when I insisted that I was too old for birthday gifts. When I lived in Australia they took 6 weeks to clear at the bank, until I told the teller that it was a birthday gift from my mom and dad then she started to recognize them and clear them immediately. Then when I moved to Algeria you finally agreed that maybe I wasn't too old, but I was in a place that proved too hard to send or cash checks anymore. I miss telling you about the year and some of the amazing things I had seen and done. You were always open to hearing about my adventures  and you were always non-judgemental  about what I was getting up to.  I miss you dad. Your son, David (aka Daoud)

Dear Dad, 
 Today is one year that Mom passed. You are both together now and certainly in a better place. You don't know how much I miss you both..my heart aches. Someday we will be together again and until then, I love you and Mom forever.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of your dad.  He was my God Father and I did have a nice chat with him this summer. Your mom and dad were my god parents and always got me a wonderful Christmas gift each year. So sorry to hear of the loss of your father.  Our folks and our families had some great times at the Suffield country club and Cape Cod.  In fact I just stayed at the Commodore Hotel this summer.  It looks the same as when your family stayed there. Your father was a great auditor and manager. I learned a lot from him at Society for Savings before he retired. He was always quick with his smile and wit. Our parents are finally all together and we are confident they are continuing with their old ways and good times.
