Nancy O. Shuckerow

Nancy (Oslund) Shuckerow, 67 of Manchester, passed away peacefully July 12, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital with her family by her side, after a long illness. She was born May 11, 1947 in Hartford, a daughter of the late Merritt and Barbara Oslund. She graduated Newington High School in 1966. Later she received her CNA and took great pride in caring for the elderly through the Glastonbury VNA.

She is survived by her husband John, her son John Jr. of Manchester, and her daughter Wendy Krystopa and her husband Tom, and grandson Tommy, all of Wethersfield, also a brother Timothy Oslund and his wife Illona, along with several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers; Sanford and Reid Oslund. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Her greatest enjoyment was the time she spent with her grandson Tommy, playing lots of games and reading books to each other.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 11am at the Lutheran Church of St. Mark, 75 Griswold Street, Glastonbury, CT. 06033.
