Born in Cidra, Puerto Rico, to Maria M. Martinez and the late Manuel Burgos, Claribel grew up in a family filled with love and close bonds. Her early years in Puerto Rico were marked by a strong sense of family and community, values she carried with her throughout her life. She moved to East Hartford, Connecticut, where she continued to build a life centered around family, friendship, and a dedication to helping others.
For over two decades, Claribel worked as an Administrative Assistant at Hartford Hospital's Institute of Living. She was known not only for her professionalism but also for her warm heart and unwavering kindness. Claribel’s colleagues and patients she served alike admired her for her generosity, always going the extra mile to make everyone feel valued and cared for.
Claribel had a deep passion for crafting, and late night shopping on QVC. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren, Julianna and Jaiden, and her loyal grand pup, Bear. Claribel’s family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment she could spend with her loved ones.
Those who knew Claribel described her as a kind, loving, and selfless soul. She was the first to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear.
