Christine (Kolek) Kessler, 55, of East Hartford, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 5, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Born in Hartford on October 27, 1968, a daughter of the late Joseph and Blanch (Nartowicz) Kolek, she had resided in East Hartford for the past several years. Christine was employed as a Home Health Aide for many years in the Greater Hartford area. She will be remembered as a strong-willed individual who enjoyed spending time with her fiancé Mark, and her family and friends.
Christine is survived by two daughters, Kaitlyn Kessler of Hartford, Jami Kessler of South Windsor; a caring sister, Mary A. Stone and her husband Christopher of Vernon; her brother, Joseph Kolek of East Hartford; her fiancé, Mark Cyr of East Hartford with whom she made her home; a niece, Sara Stone of Vernon; several aunts, cousins, and dear friends.
A memorial service celebrating Christine’s life will be Saturday (April 20th) at 12 noon at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home chapel on Saturday morning from 10 am to 12 noon.
