Alice Goslin

Alice (Pelkey) Goslin, 87, beloved wife of the late Victor Goslin, passed away on Monday, Oct. 20, 2014. She was born in Ashland, ME to the late Thomas and Phoebe (Martin) Pelkey. She was a longtime resident of East Hartford. Alice was a devoted wife and mother, who cherished time spent with family. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Alice is survived by her daughters, Sharon Zaccagnino of Southington, Brenda Legare of East Hartford; her son Byron Goslin of East Hartford; her son in-law Daniel St.Onge of Enfield; her sister Valena Gregoire and her husband Gene; her grandchildren, Lauren and Brian Zaccagnino, William Legare, Michelle (Legare) Klock, Michael St.Onge and her great-grandchildren, Kristie, Nathan, Matthew, Trevor and Megan. In addition to her husband Victor, Alice was predeceased by her devoted daughter Bonnie St.Onge.

Funeral Services will begin at 8:30AM, on Saturday, Oct. 25, at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, at 10AM, at St. Christopher Church, 538 Brewer St., East Hartford. Burial will follow in Silver Lane Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday, Oct. 24, from 4 to 7PM at the funeral home.
