William J. Martin, PhD., Age 79, of Lockport and Barker, New York passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Beloved husband of 49 years to Honor Carroll Martin (nee Sams); loving father of Meghan (Richard) Rys and Brendan Martin; brother of the late John (Susan) and the late Daniel (Christine) Martin; brother-in-law of Mary Bride (John) Wideman, the late Lawrence (Heather) Sams and the late Sheila (Edmond), Collum. Also survived by nieces and nephews. William had a distinguished 43-year career as a Professor at Niagara University. William received his Master's degree from Niagara University and a Doctorate from the University of Notre Dame. Friends may call Saturday, November 2nd, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at All Saints RC Church, 76 Church St., Lockport, where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 10:00 AM.
