John Delano Rietter

John was born in Kane, PA, the only son of the late Glen & Ruth Rietter’s three children.

He married Anna M. Stapf on January 3, 1959 in Buffalo, NY. He is survived by his two daughters: Karen Stitzinger and her husband, Andy, Laura Gaines and her husband, Herb, and his 5 grandsons.

John graduated top of his class from Seneca Valley Vocational High School and began his career with Bell Telephone (AT&T) as a phone systems engineer and retired after 36 years.

John served two years in the US Army Signal Battalion at Fort Lewis, WA.

John was a member of Valley View Bible Church in Telford, PA.

A private funeral service will be held for the family.

John will be buried at White Chapel Memorial Park with his parents and his wife.
