A Child of God, minister’s wife, loving mother and grandmother, proud sister and published author, whose mission in life was to lead people to Christ. Sue Padgett, 80, died in Murrieta, California on February 28, 2024.
She was born on October 14, 1943 in Miami, Florida to the late Raymond and Kathleen Williams and is survived by her brother Lester Williams and his family.
She shared 50 years of marriage with her beloved late husband, Dr. Larry D. Padgett. They enjoyed 42 years of ministry and a great sense of humor in life together.
Sue was the mother of eight children, four boys, four girls, along with sons-and-daughters-in-law. Guy and Teresa Padgett, Daryl Padgett, Dean and Carolyn Padgett, Lori and Jeff Martin, Veronica and Felix Izurieta, Mary and Benny Fisher, Lorayne and Lyndon Lingat, and Greg Padgett.
She had twenty-three grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.
The memorial service will be held at graveside on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery in Dunn, NC.
