Duane Kimball Wanamaker

Duane was born to Lawrence and Kathleen Wanamaker on June 25th, 1980. Duane is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Wanamaker.

Duane is a graduate of South View High School. He had a love for sports and played basketball, baseball and soccer. He also enjoyed fishing. Duane was employed in construction of most of his life.

Left to honor his memory is his mother, Kathleen Morris Wanamaker of Fayetteville; Sister, April Lynn Wanamaker (Jeremey) of Fayetteville; Brothers, Michael “Mike” Wanamaker of Fayetteville and Wayne Wanamaker (Donna) of Fayetteville; Niece, Lauren Wanamaker; and Nephew, Jeremey Wanamaker both of Fayetteville.

A celebration of life service for Duane will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 2:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 810 Rockfish Road, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348.

May the peace and comfort of our Father in heaven bring its healing influence to all who are called upon to mourn and to bear affliction. And may we be strengthened with the understanding that being blessed does not mean that we shall always be spared all the disappointments and difficulties of life.
