Thank you, Uncle Kevin, for providing such wonderful childhood memories and being a kind, gentle and fun person. Although this is a difficult time for your family, they must be very proud of all the wonderful tributes to you. My condolences to Cindy, Cynthia, Michael and family.

I wake up every morning and think about you. I can't go anywhere where something doesn't remind me of all the great times we had together. You were so loving and supportive, I have truly lost my best friend. I hope that you are having fun in heaven, that you are right behind home plate at all the Rays and Yankees games, that you are always sitting under a beautiful tree looking at water and that you are always telling someone a story....

Even though Uncle Kevin has lived in Florida my entire life, it does not mean I did not know him and love him.  The one time I was in Florida and had the opportunity to meet up with him, it was as if we had known each other for ever. He made Tom and I feel so welcome into his home and it was entertaining to hear stories of my mom's family I hadn't heard before.  I did not see him again till he made a trip to NY with Cindy.  These past few months I've tried to talk with him often by phone.  He would tell stories and jokes and uplifted me, I only hope my calls did the same for him.  I will miss you, Uncle Kevin, but am comforted knowing you are now surrounded by your all your brothers and a few sisters who will welcome you with loving arms.

To Cindy-thank you for coming into his life and taking such good care of him.  I know you'll miss him greatly.

My daughter, Catherine, just asked me how I would describe my brother Kevin to a stranger.  This is what I told her: warm, big hearted, kind to a fault, gentle, a great story-teller, funny and above all else, a passionate lover of his wife and family and life.
To Cindy, I know he was the love of your life and will be so terribly missed.  Rest easy with the knowledge that you were the center of his universe.  Thank you for caring for him so much.  Love, Jane

From early boyhood I only ever knew Kevin to be such a nice person---not a mean bone in his body. Although time will pass the ache of his going won't.  We will always recall how fortunate we were to have had such a good brother, husband, father in our lives. So long, Kevin....
