CASTILLO, Jr., Ramiro Fernando age 51, passed away July 29, 2014 at Gulfside Bayfront Hospice in Dade City, FL. Ramiro was born on July 13, 1963, in Riobamba, Ecuador, to Ramiro and Patricia Castillo. Ramiro Jr. immigrated to the United States in 1970 along with his brother Pablo and sister Jacqueline. They were reunited with their parents, where they were already living here for several years and embraced their new youngest sibling Stuart.
Ramiro was well known in Tampa, Florida having worked for more than twenty years as a butcher at Granada Meat Market and Cacciatore Bros.. He established and fostered many close friendships throughout the years. He always had a joke for us and a funny face that would make us laugh, and made our day brighter. He was passionate about sports, music and movies. He enjoyed playing soccer for a local league and attending Yankee and Tampa Bay Buccaneer games.
“His optimism and outlook on life” was inspiring despite his painful battle with his illness. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a noble, kind, generous, and loving son, grandson, brother, cousin, uncle, and friend. He will be missed, but will live on in our hearts and memories, loving him forever.
Ramiro is survived by his mother Patricia Castillo, his grandmother Zoila Calles, his sister Jacqueline Castillo Marran, his brother Pablo Castillo and his wife Brigitte, his brother Stuart Castillo and his wife Danelle, his nephews Manny Castillo, Marc Marran, Tony Marran and Dominic Castillo, his nieces Jordan Castillo, Ashlie Cruz and Madison Castillo, his aunts, uncles and cousins; Zoila Pilar Monge, Sonia Perez, Mercedes Martinez, Gerardo Calles, Hugo Monge, Luis Monge, Natasha Carvajal, Ivan Carvajal, Joan Cevallos, Janet Cevallos-Brennan, Nick Cevallos, Douglas Cevallos, Joanie Monge and Jessenia Vazquez, Maurice Martinez, David Martinez, Elizabeth Martinez, Gerardo Calles Jr., Susana Oleas, Lourdes Robalino and Silvia Calles, Jamie Castillo, Enrique Castillo, Esibel Miranda Castillo, Walter Castillo, Manuel Castillo, Jimmy Castillo, Viky Castillo, Valeria Castillo, Lorena Castillo, Jacqui Castillo, Maria Castillo, Alexander Miranda, Veronica Castillo other family members in the Monge family, Calles family, Castillo Family and his mother‘s husband Jorge E. Garcia.
He was preceded in death by his father Ramiro Castillo, Sr..
