Tommy: Your Mom was always a very bright spot for me, even in the dark days after Karen died.  All these years later I can still hear that great laugh she had and I wish I had her great attitude toward life.  I feel really proud and lucky to have known her. -- Mike

To Judy and all of Carolyn's family, Your mother was such a blessing to you and to so many others.  What a wonderful tribute she has received in all of the thoughtful messages and posting of memories.  I'm so pleased we were able to meet her and share some of her laughter and spirit.

To Tom, Judy and families,
We were very sad to hear of your mom's passing into the arms of the Lord.  We have fond memories of our Girl Scout experiences of your mother as our leader, especially our trip to Washington D.C.  We, both of us, still have our black and white photos (with white gloves on all our hands) meeting Senator Case at the Capitol ... this being for many of us our first trip away from home without our parents! We loved scouting all these years because of her and became leaders ourselv es.  She was always so kind and made the trip so memorable and fun!  She was the best of neighbors - always willing to help out with a smile and a hearty laugh!  When we drive down Malaprdis Road we will always remember the pink welcoming home! To Carolyn's Family,
It has been our sincere pleasure to have had Carolyn as a neighbor for the past 10 plus years...She was the best neighbor one could ask for. Welcoming from the very first day. She is already missed...I will think of her often and always remember her standing in front of the Gardenia bush between our two houses, admiring it and smelling the flowers each day when she went to get her mail. We never did figure out who planted it or if it was hers or ours. I do believe it will always belong to her!  Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

Always smiling and those beautiful blue eyes  sparkling like  blue sapphires. I have never seen anyone so giving and willing to help everyone.

We have fond memories of her from years back and even when she moved to Florida, we visited her.  She always talked about her family.  My husband called her Buckwheat. To Carolyn's Family, I offer my sincere condolences for your loss. Carolyn was a great lady. My Dad, Rolland Stanford,grew up with Carolyn way back when and were the best of friends. My Dad has been gone 4 years now and I am sure has already met up with Carolyn in Heaven. I, also enjoyed Carolyn's company at her home in Safety Harbor some years ago with my Dad, Rolland Stanford and My Mom Peggy Stanford who has also passed on. My name is Jim Stanford and I also lived in Nutley most of my life and am now in Palm Harbor Florida. God bless you all with love from the Stanfords.

I will never forget all you did as our Girl scout leader and friend; will treasure those times forever. It was great you were able to join us in our reunions over the years and to get reacquainted. You will be missed.

Our Prayers are with you now and always.  Remember how much fun and the laughs we had with your mom at our reunions.  She was a wonderful,talented and funny lady.   We will all miss her.
