With sad hearts, we say farewell to Kim Fleming who died after suffering a heart attack while riding his bike on the rail trail in Dundas on Saturday, November 9.
He will be missed by his son, Kyle and his daughter-in-law, Angela Morley; by his mother, Phyllis Fleming, for whom he was the primary caregiver in recent years; by his sister, Shelley Tatum and her husband Ron; by his brother, Brad Fleming and his wife, Nancy; and by so many close friends and family in Dundas and around the world. He was predeceased by his father, Harold Fleming in 1972.
For the last two and a half years, Kim devoted himself to the increasing needs of his mother, providing support and help that was not always welcome. But he stayed and together, they settled into a peaceful coexistence. Kim met any and all challenges with love and acceptance of what life looks like when you reach one hundred years plus.
Kim was a fun-loving free spirit with a great sense of adventure and his own distinctive outlook on life. This sudden loss means so many questions went unasked and now will never be answered. Much love and respect from brother Brad and sister Shelley. Cremation has taken place.
