Passed away suddenly at home in Marten River on February 26th in his 58th year.
He will be missed by his mother, Eleanor Simpson, his children Brodie (Christina) and Victoria (Elijah). Doug was a very proud Papa to Adalynn. He is survived by his brothers Dwayne (Julie) and David, and he will be missed by his aunt Helen, his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his father Clifford “Pete”.
He loved his time on the road as a truck driver, spending time with his family and being up north.
Doug will be laid to rest at Mount Zion Cemetery, 244 HWY 52, Copetown on Friday, March 3rd at 11am. A Celebration of His life will be held immediately following at the Lynden Legion, 206 Lynden Road, Lynden.
