With great sadness and with family by her side, we announce the passing of our Aunt, Anne, at St. Joseph’s Villa, Dundas on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at the age of 88.
Dear Aunt of niece Lynda Coleman, great-niece Kristy, nephew Phil Coleman (Johanna), niece Carlina and nephews Calum and Ryan.
Anne was born in Weymouth, England and came to Canada to start a new life in her 21st year. She retired from McMaster University, and then she proudly obtained her travel license at the age of 74 and arranged many cruises for McMaster faculty. An avid knitter and a great advocate of animals of all types.
According to her wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to any animal rescue of your choice.
