Son of James Gordon and Anne Douglas (Dobson) Dingle.
Survived by his wife Mary Lou (Willis), their sons Brian and Jonathan, their children and Al’s ‘Little Brother’, Peter Grove.
Al felt lucky as he was born in the 30's. He enjoyed his career as a professor and researcher in McMaster’s Biology Department. He loved nature, classical music, jazz, sports, the cottage, fly fishing and volunteering.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place in Muskoka.
A heartfelt thank you to all who helped to care for Al over the years.
