Left to mourn his passing are his mother, Christine Oates; his step-father, William Oates; his daughter Autumn Lucia Tapp and her mother Marilyn Mandy, and his sister Susan Tapp-Teeninga (William). He is the son of the late Clare Tapp and step-son of Johanne Haworth-Tapp (Frank). His half-brother Jeremy Tapp and step-sisters Valerie Oates and Lydia Oates mourn his passing. Aaron leaves behind a large and loving family who have been supportive over the years. Mourning his passing are Aunt Pat Ertl (late Peter Ertl) and family; Aunt and Godmother Irene Rand (late Rein Rand, Jim Ecclestone) and family; Uncle John Ilchene (late Mary Ann Ilchene) and family.
Aaron was a Veteran serving in the Canadian Navy 2003-2006. Aaron is finally at peace.
In accordance with the regulations of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario due to COVID-19, all visitations and funerals are restricted to a specified number of attendees. All visitors will be required to wear a face covering, as well as provide name and telephone number to funeral home staff. Aaron’s family will receive family and friends at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME “SWACKHAMER CHAPEL”, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Monday, October 4th, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 58 Sydenham Street, Dundas on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021 at 10 a.m. If planning to attend the Funeral Mass, please call the Marlatt Funeral Home, 905-627-7452, to reserve a spot confirming attendance, as church seating is limited. Cremation to follow.
