Sarah was a proud wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to so many. She was a hair stylist for over 50 years and took great pride in her work. Sarah retired from the Salon at JC Penney after 15 years of service.
Sarah's greatest joy was her family and she enjoyed spending time with them more than anything else. Many days were spent on the back porch or at the lake surrounded by her family and friends laughing, listening to great music and telling stories. She always had a huge smile on her face and laughter was abundant whenever she was around. In the last few years Sarah also enjoyed the constant companionship on her ever faithful Silkie pup, Will; and her kitty, MiMi. The both brought her great peace.
Although Sarah is gone she will never be forgotten. Her smile and beautiful laugh will be forever present in our hearts and minds.
The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff of UT Southwestern Medical Center and William P. Clements Hospital for their kindness and sweet care during the last months and days of Sarah's life with us on this earth before she went home to meet her heavenly Father.
