Lauren Lindsay Madeley

Lauren was a devoted follower of Christ, a loving wife to Brian and mother to Lucy, Allie & Samantha. She was 39 years old. Lauren was born on December 2, 1980 in Ft. Worth, TX. She was a joy to her mother Becky (Dempsey) Maddrey and older brother Marshall Dempsey. Lauren went to Robert E Lee High School where she played on the golf team. Lauren was a proud graduate of Baylor University where she received her degree in Speech Communications. After graduation Lauren moved to Dallas where she attended Watermark Community Church and met her husband Brian Madeley. Lauren and Brian were married August 7, 2010.

Lauren devoted her days on earth to serving and building the love of Christ into Brian, Lucy, Allie and Samantha. She was an avid truth teller, pursuer and lover of people. Lauren loved cooking, needlepointing, gardening and creating intentional memories with those closest to her. Throughout her courageous battle with cancer, Lauren continued to point all those she came in contact with back to her unshakable faith in Jesus.

Lauren is survived by her husband, Brian, her three daughters, Lucy, Allie, and Samantha. She is also survived by her mother Becky and her husband Dr. Willis Maddrey, and her brother Marshall Dempsey and his wife Elizabeth and children Carter, Emory and Brooks; maternal grandparents Ralph and Joan Barris.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 18, at Watermark Community Church at 1pm. Watermark Community Church: 7540 Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway, Dallas, TX 75251.
