Betty Russell Taylor passed away Sunday morning. Betty was preceded in death by her father Judge William Russell, mother Mildred, and younger brother Kenneth. Betty taught French in DISD. After retiring from teaching she did legal secretarial work. An accomplished pianist, she enjoyed playing accompaniments for vocal majors at DBU. After retiring she did volunteer work at Methodist Central. Betty is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jack Taylor, and her daughter, Dr. Cindy Taylor.
